In January of 1996, I was involved as a "trainer" in jury initiative program in Russia,
In September of 1998, I assisted Supreme Court of Moldova in drafting a new code of criminal procedure.
In July of 2001, I was a presenter in a jury trial demonstration, sponsored by the Department of Justice, for the Parliament of Georgia.
Beginning in October of 2001, through 2002, I have been involved in developing a Russian language video of a mock jury trial, also a Department of Justice project.
- It was filmed in Moscow, and it incorporates changes in the Russian Federation Code of Criminal Procedure, which now extends the right to a jury trial to those charged with serious crimes, to all regions of Russian Federation.
- I have also assisted in assessing draft laws of countries in the region.
In November of 2000, I attended and presented at the CIS and Eastern Europe Business Forum, organized by the University of Arizona.
